We were getting RDMed outside PH. The players who were RDM'ing us kept dying & coming back straight to shoot us outside the PH. We were only there as we were waiting for someone who was AFK at PH.
Omar didnt see the full situation and punished us for RDM and that has since been resolved.
However, Elon let the punishment stay for myself and mikks on the grounds that we were provoking/baiting.
I did discuss this with Elon and we both could not come to an agreement hence this complaint.
In the rules provoking & baiting is described as follows -
6.8 No immoral actions may be performed on unconscious individuals. | 3-7 day banExample: Sexual animations or spitting on the corpse.
Note: If emotes are performed before or over a corpse, this will be sanctioned as baiting/provocation.
Baiting - Other players may not be intentionally annoyed or irritated to force or lead them to react. | 120 minutes
The actions that Elon mentioned that led to his decision was us playing music in our vehicles/talking shit after killing them.
I understand that our actions can be seen as such however, we did so to build rivalry between gangs (as these players were from vagos).
However we did our shit talking etc within the guildelines of the rules. No spitting/no sexual actions/no emotes.
If all forms of provocation are banned, it needs to be outlined in the rules as it currently is not at all. Only specific actions during provoking were mentioned as prohibited as shown above. At the same time, if all forms of provoking are against the rules, it will be tough for illegal factions to build rivalries as nearly everything we do can classified under provoking/baiting.
Do take a look into this. Elon is a great admin & very responsive. This is only due to gray areas within the rules and the fact that we couldnt come to an agreement/understanding.
