Riku Hearts is the son of a prominent businessman secretly tied to a crime family which prompted his father's success and a mother who was an honorable intelligence agent. From a young age, he saw the stark contrast between his parents worlds one ruled by power and corruption, the other by duty and sacrifice. At 15 Riku’s life was shattered, his father was gunned down in front of him, and his mother vanished during a covert mission, never to be seen again. These traumatic events hardened him and forced him to grow up fast. Taken in by his uncle, Riku struggled with the weight of his past but found purpose in structure and discipline. By the age of 18, he enlisted in the military, determined to forge his own path and seek answers in the shadows of his parents legacies. He was lost in life until he met another soldier by the name of Mikks Bolo who had a dream to lead a group of individuals with hardened pasts and to find a new purpose for them. That group is now known as Bolo.
Currently, Riku Bolo serves as one of the prominent figures in the Bolo Family, a group he deeply values and has endured many trials alongside. Through years of loyalty, hardship, and shared battles, Riku has earned the trust and respect of those around him. Despite his ties to the family, he also holds the law as one of the deputies of LSPD. Balancing these two worlds is not easy to say the least, but Riku walks the line with conviction, using his unique position to protect those he calls his brotherhood (Bolo) while striving to maintain order in a city that rarely offers peace. Riku owes his life to MIkks for helping him find his way, and he also feels obligated to find out what has happened to his mother. With those two goals in mind Riku will stop at nothing until his family (Bolos) achieve everything they wanted and to find out more on the whereabouts of his mother, so he can finally be at peace.
Since I’m part of the Bolo Family and with most of the group involved in crime it’s hard not to step in and assist when I can. Loyalty runs deep, and in this life, that loyalty means everything. We do what we must to protect each other and our family, by any means necessary. Sometimes, that means stepping outside the bounds of the law, especially in the ghettos where power is constantly shifting and threats come from all directions. Whether it’s going up against rival families, local gangs, or anyone who threatens our own, we stand together and do what has to be done. It’s not always clean, and it’s rarely easy, but this is the life we chose and in many ways, the life that chose us. I may wear a badge, but I’ll never turn my back on my brothers. That line between law and loyalty is thin, and I walk it every day with one goal protect the Bolos, no matter what it takes.
