General Rules
All rule sets on Crystal define sanctions for rule violations. These assume the violations are one-time, minor, and unintentional.If the administration believes a player intentionally breaks rules, harsher penalties will apply.
Repeated misconduct can lead to a permanent ban from the project.
Account Rules
Account:§1.1 Each player may have a maximum of only one account. | Ban 30 days for the main account & permanent ban for all additional accounts
Note: 1x account includes 3x characters
§1.2 The player is responsible for their own account. The administration assumes no liability or responsibility for the account.
Note: If access to the account is lost or, for example, the account is controlled by someone else through "hacking", your account will still be subject to the same penalties.
§1.3 Trading accounts is prohibited. A player may neither sell nor trade their account. | Permanent ban + wipe of all characters
§1.4 Any kind of fraud against other players is prohibited. | Permanent ban
Note: No refund of money or items will be made.
§1.5 Doxxing – The dissemination of personal data is prohibited. | Ban 30 days - permanent ban + wipe of all characters
§1.6 By creating an account, each player confirms their agreement with all rules applicable on the server. It is the responsibility of each player to inform themselves about these rules and to comply with them at all times. Ignorance of the rules does not protect against possible sanctions.
Property:
§2.1 It is forbidden to own more than one company. | Ban 30 days + confiscation
Note: 1 person = 1 company
§2.1.1 The person must be on the server at least 5 hours a week; merely paying taxes or being AFK does not count as activity. | Confiscation of the affected company
§2.2 It is forbidden to interact between your main and secondary character. | Permanent ban of all involved characters
§2.3 It is forbidden to bypass system-based interactions. | Ban 60 days
§2.4 Attempting to sell or purchase game property/ranks for real money is prohibited. | Permanent ban + wipe of all characters
Exception: Server partners are permitted to sell Crystal Coins.
§2.5 Accessing another player’s trunk is only allowed with their explicit consent. | Permanent ban
Exception: Items placed inside by yourself.
Character Name:
§3.1 The player is required to choose a realistic first and last name for their character. The name must not contain hidden meanings and must relate to the real world. Names of famous persons, insults, or innuendos are not allowed. | Jail 10 minutes + name change
§3.1.1 Additionally, the following criteria and rules for character names apply, which are already listed in the character creation menu.
Note: These criteria and rules must be followed, otherwise an administrative name change will occur (see General 3.1).
- Must match the character’s gender
- Must not match any admin character name
- No more than two consecutive identical letters or characters
- No more than two uppercase letters allowed (e.g., Mc, De allowed)
Moderated Platforms & Private Messages
§4.1 Public Platforms as EvidenceThe administration may use public platforms as a basis for punishments.
The following are considered public platforms:
- Twitch streams
- YouTube channels
- The game itself
- The forum
Private messages between players are generally not moderated by the administration.
Exceptions include cases of:
- Death threats
- Excessive toxicity
- Offers to buy or sell virtual currency or items
- Sharing of secret information or banned third-party software
- In game with /report
- The ticket system
- The forum section "Complaints"
Communication Rules
§5.1 The main language on the server is English. Voice and text chats may only be conducted in English. | Mute 120–180 minutes / Ban 1–7 daysException: In small groups, the use of another language is permitted if all participants agree.
§5.2 Spamming and the use of unwanted characters in text chats is prohibited. | Mute 10–30 minutes / Jail 10–60 minutes
§5.3 It is forbidden to make loud or disruptive noises, including the use of soundboards and voice changers. | Mute 10–30 minutes
Exception: Using a voice changer is permitted when speaking on the phone while wearing a mask.
§5.4 OOC information may only be transmitted via the /b, /fb, and /cb commands. | Mute 30–120 minutes / Jail 120 minutes
Note: Mentioning the rulebook during an active RP situation (“rulebook reference”) or speaking OOC during RP is also prohibited. | Mute 30–60 minutes / Jail 10 minutes
§5.5 The radio and the following channels are considered IC chats: /dep, /mark, /f, /c, /s, /m as well as chat without prefix.
OOC information, excessive capitalization (caps lock), meaningless messages, or vulgar language are prohibited there. | Mute 30–60 minutes
§5.6 Insults in OOC are strictly prohibited. | Mute 120–180 minutes / Ban 1–7 days
§5.7 Muting other players in order to deliberately avoid RP is forbidden. | Jail 120 minutes
Hacking & Malware
§6.1 Players may not use external software that provides an advantage (hacks, bots, etc.). | Ban 60 days / Permanent banNote: If a cheater is knowingly protected by another player or even aided by them, that player will be punished as an accomplice. | Ban 30–60 days
§6.1.1 If there is a modification of the game files, it must comply with our applicable regulations, which can be updated and adjusted at any time. | Ban 30 days

Explanation: So-called “macros” also fall under this regulation and will be punished accordingly.
§6.2 The administration has the right to request an inspection of your device to check for external software. It is up to the player whether to comply with this inspection.
Note: If the inspection is refused, a penalty according to General 6.1 will be enforced.
§6.3 It is prohibited to bypass the AFK timer. | 1st: Kick | 2nd: Jail 120 minutes | 3rd: Warning
Dealing with Administrators
Administrators are OOC characters whose goal is to help players and resolve difficult in-game matters. Everything that happens in the presence of an administrator is considered an OOC process.§7.1 All players must follow the instructions of the administration.
Note: In cases of extreme disagreement, a complaint against the administration can be filed in the forum under “Complaints about Admins.”
§7.2 Disrespectful behavior or insults toward the administration are prohibited. | Ban 3–30 days

§7.3 It is forbidden to interrupt the administrator or interfere in any way with the situation they are handling. | Jail 10–60 minutes / Ban 1–7 days
§7.4 Any violations of OOC rules or IC processes (e.g., RDM, VDM) are prohibited during an administrative action. | Punishment according to existing rules / At the discretion of the administrator
§7.5 In situations or ambiguities not explicitly covered by the rulebook, the administration decides on appropriate measures.
§7.6 The ticket system/in-game report may only be used for questions, problems, or rule violations. | Mute 20–60 minutes
Note: When submitting a ticket, it must be ensured that the administration can handle the issue directly in-game without relying on external means such as the forum, videos, or screenshots.
§7.7 Intentionally disrupting or sabotaging events is prohibited. | Mute 10–30 minutes / Kick / Jail / Ban 1–7 days
§7.8 Destructive or prohibited actions regarding the project will be severely punished. | Ban 7 days / Permanent ban
Game Rules
§8.1 The RP process must not be interrupted or degraded in quality through a game restart or any external influences. The RP process must be continued without deviation in the usual manner.§8.2 An ongoing RP situation must not be exited by refusing to continue. | Warning
Example: Leaving the game, going AFK, entering an inaccessible interior, etc.
§8.3 The improper or incorrect use of the commands /me, /do, /try, and /todo is prohibited. Every player is required to use these commands as intended. | Mute 10–30 minutes
§8.4 It is forbidden to shift IC situations into the OOC area. | Ban 1–7 days
Example: Addressing someone on Discord or the forum about an in-game situation.
Note: Violations can also be punished on the respective platform.
§8.5 Using organization or family inventories for personal purposes is prohibited. | Permanent ban
Note: Personal purposes include:
- Storage in private vehicles.
- Unauthorized transfer between organization and family vehicles.
- Storage in private houses or family structures without organizational necessity.
§8.6 The purchase or sale of family businesses or transactions to/from the family account is not permitted without the consent of the family leader. | Treated as warehousing
Note: The same applies to the withdrawal of items from family inventories or vehicles.
§8.7 It is forbidden to play a "bad" employee of an organization without an administratively approved RP biography. | Warning
§8.8 During an ongoing shootout, it is not allowed to heal yourself or others, loot items, or perform a revival. | Jail 60 minutes
Exception: If these actions are performed from full cover.
§8.9 Intentionally hiding or switching a weapon to retain it after your own death is prohibited. | Jail 60 minutes / Ban 3 days + removal of special weapons
Explanation: Unlawful hiding includes, for example, putting away a special weapon immediately before dying.
Exception: If the weapon is dropped or switched within cover.
§8.10 Using armored vehicles as protection against gunfire is prohibited. | Warning
§8.11 Any form of intentional exploitation of game bugs (bug abuse) is prohibited. | Ban 60 days – Permanent ban
§8.12 Executing morally reprehensible or inappropriate actions on unconscious persons is prohibited. | Ban 3–7 days
Example: Sexual animations or deliberately spitting on lifeless players.
§8.13 Any form of sexual acts on other characters is strictly prohibited. | Ban 3–7 days
Exception: Victims of such actions may remove themselves from the situation, and in this case, General 8.2 does not apply.
§8.14 The use of discriminatory or insulting terms is prohibited. | Ban 1–3 days

§8.15 Using a helicopter to access rooftops that are not normally accessible is not permitted. | Jail 120 minutes
§8.16 Criminal acts against medical personnel during duty are prohibited. | Warning
Note: The same applies to harassing medical personnel.
Exception: If the medical personnel provoked the confrontation through disrespectful behavior.
§8.17 Wearing EMS service clothing without authorization is prohibited. | Warning / Ban 1–7 days
§8.18 It is forbidden to have a secondary character on the "other side" (legal vs. illegal) with the same account. | Warning for affected character
Example: If the main character belongs to a government organization, it is prohibited for a secondary character to join an illegal organization and vice versa.
Note: A government employee may belong to other government organizations with a secondary character; likewise, a criminal may be active in other criminal organizations with their secondary characters.
§8.19 Creating a game character with a gender different from that of the player is prohibited. | Jail 120 minutes + gender change
Exception: With administrative approval or a valid transgender application.
§8.20 The use of OBS and similar programs for recording is prohibited. | Ban 30 days
Note: All active overlays must be visible.
Remark: If permitted programs split overlays, this will also be considered a violation of this rule.
§8.21 In certain events or situations, POV recording is mandatory. A complete video recording is required that complies with the established requirements. | 1st: Ban 30 days | 2st: Ban 60 days | 3st: Permanent ban for the character
Note: The complete video must meet the established requirements and be stored for 72 hours to serve as proof in case of administrative request.
Remark: If an administrator requests the footage in the forum or through other communication channels, it must be submitted within 24 hours. Failure to do so is also considered a violation of this rule.
Roleplay Terms and Rules
Roleplay refers to the simulation of a realistic character within the game world. This may include the portrayal of an ordinary civilian, a member of a criminal organization, or a medical service provider.In Character (IC)
This includes all actions and verbal expressions carried out by the player within the simulated environment while in the role of their character.
Out of Character (OOC)
Communication or actions that occur outside the context of roleplay and have no relation to the game world.
Example: Discussions about real-world topics or technical aspects of the game.
Random Deathmatch (RDM)
Deliberately attacking, injuring, or eliminating another player without sufficient RP reason or prior dialogue. | Jail 120–180 minutes / Warning / Ban 3 days
Note: Before applying harmful force, an explicit demand must be made. The opposing party must be given 5 seconds to comply. If they fail to respond within this time, you're cleared to shoot.
Remark: Failing to respect this reaction time is considered Power Gaming.
Exception: Prior verbal interaction is not required if there is an immediate threat to your character or allied actors (e.g., faction or family members).
This applies especially in the following cases:
- A character is directly threatened by being aimed at with a weapon.
- A physical attack occurs, such as repeated punches.
- Severe insults are made towards the character or allies, especially involving discriminatory remarks about nationality or ethnicity or obscene insults.
- Theft of a personal vehicle.
Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)
Intentionally running over or otherwise purposely injuring or killing players using a vehicle is not allowed. | Jail 120–180 minutes / Warning
Combat Logging (CL)
A player may not interrupt an ongoing RP interaction by exiting the game or refusing to continue participating. | Warning
Example: A player disconnects during a confrontation, goes AFK on purpose, or enters a restricted interior to avoid the situation.
Metagaming (MG)
It is not allowed to obtain information outside the game world and use it within the game. | Mute 60–180 minutes / Jail 60–180 minutes
Example: A player receives information via an external platform (e.g., Discord) that their friend is in danger and drives directly to the location without having received that info in-game.
Instigating other players to metagame is also forbidden.
New Life Rule (NLR)
If a character is killed and revived at the hospital, they may not return to the scene of the incident or participate in the previous situation for 15 minutes. | Warning
Powergaming (PG)
Players may not perform actions that leave others with no realistic chance to react, or that are unrealistic within the game world. | Jail 120–180 minutes / Warning
Examples of Powergaming:
- Forcing an action on others without giving them a chance to respond.
- Inventing events to gain an unfair advantage.
- Performing script-wise impossible actions to gain a benefit.
- A character continues to fight without impairment despite serious injuries.
- Putting others into inescapable situations with no real possibility for interaction.
Revenge Killing (RK)
After a character dies, it is forbidden to return to the scene to take revenge on the person responsible. | Jail 120–180 minutes
Car Ramming (CR)
Using a vehicle to collide with other vehicles or people is forbidden. | Jail 120–180 minutes / Warning
Note: A violation of this rule counts as Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM).
Drive By
In shootouts from a vehicle, the destruction of enemy mobility must take priority. | Jail 60–120 minutes
Note: You must aim for the tires of the enemy vehicle first before shooting at characters.
Baiting
Deliberately provoking others to force a reaction is not allowed. | Jail 120–180 minutes / Warning / Ban 3–7 days
Fail-RP
Covers actions that disrupt realistic roleplay. Occurs when players act unrealistically or intentionally against RP logic. | Jail 120–180 minutes / Warning / Ban 3–7 days
Examples of Fail-RP:
- Referring to the rulebook or engaging in OOC communication during an active RP situation.
- A character performs intentionally inappropriate or unrealistic actions that disrupt others' RP experience (e.g., aimless wandering at a crime scene or dancing in serious situations).
- Refusing essential RP elements like first aid or revival to avoid undesired consequences.
