Car Theft System – InstructionsReady to move into high-stakes crime? The car theft system has been upgraded, and here’s everything you need to know to start boosting cars like a pro:
What Do You Need?
- Master Key
- Programmer
(Both can be purchased from any black market) - You must be a member of a Criminal Organization to participate.
Step 1: Take a Contract
Go to the NPC near the Diamond Residential Complex (marked “Crime Contracts” on the map).
Take a Car Theft Contract.After accepting the contract:
- A red zone will appear on your map
- You’ll see details in chat: car model, color, license plate, timer, and the reward amount
Step 2: Steal the Car
Once you find the target vehicle:
- Open your inventory and use the master key
- Complete the lock-picking mini-game
After successfully unlocking, the LSPD and FIB will be notified!
Step 3: Use the Programmer
- Get inside the vehicle.
- Use the programmerto start the second mini-game:
- You’ll have 1 minute to finish.
- There are 8 code fields.
- Below, you’ll see 8 lines of letters and numbers (e.g., a2dfr4as)
- To get the correct code, add up all the digits in each line (e.g., 2 + 4 = 6) and input the result in each field.
Once completed correctly, the car will start automatically.
Step 4: Deliver the Car
Drive to the automatically marked drop-off point.
Every 15 seconds, your location will ping to LSPD and FIB, so move fast and smart.
Progression & Rewards
- After delivering the car, your car theft skill will increase.
(Check it in F5 > Statistics > New Job Stats) - Higher levels = more money per car, but some vehicles may have lower top speed to increase the challenge.
Police Interaction
If law enforcement catches up:
- They can tow the car by aiming at it and pressing G (Fraction menu > Tow Vehicle).
