Today we had a really disturbing experience on the server. While we were waiting with two cars in the Gaverment parking lot, a police officer and his civilian friend randomly started shooting around for no reason. Then they came over to us. The civilian said my car was his dream car and asked if he could drive it. When I politely said “no,” he used his police friend to have both my car and my friend’s car towed without any explanation.
What’s worse is that the civilian, even though he’s not a police officer, took out a gun and threatened me, saying “if you vape again, I’ll send you to jail.” The police officer standing next to him didn’t do anything to stop this behavior. The system showed “illegal” as the reason for the towing, but nothing illegal had been explained or even done. The fee to get the car back was $70,000, which is completely unreasonable.
These kinds of actions, based purely on personal grudges and power abuse, seriously ruin the game experience. I’ve seen questionable police behavior before, but this was just over the top. Being treated like this just because I didn’t let someone drive my car is unacceptable. I believe the server needs more mature police characters who don’t misuse their authority for their friends. Additionally, he was letting his civilian friend drive the police vehicle.
